Fitbit for Christmas....and a question

I'm a lucky girl....hubby gave me a fitbit for Christmas!!! I got it up and running yesterday but last night when I had it in my wristband for sleeping it came out of the little slot during the night. I can't find any instructions on how to wear it correctly ,so I'm wondering if I should wear it with the little insert slot on the inside ie. against my skin??

If you have one....what do you do?

I just clip mine on my underwear, as I lost the wristband holder at a motel this past summer.  When I had the wristband I wore it with the hole to the inside, as it slipped out often when the hole was to the outside.  Can't say I was doing it properly though.

You need to be careful that you don't loose it - it can slip out of your pocket.(even when secured).  A lot of ladies are wearing it on their bra. (between the 2 girl friends - sorry guys for the details)

There is no right or wrong way to carry it... does not matter.

Will send you a (PM) message with a number - it is nice to compete against each other.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

I see some people online clip it to the collar or neck of their pjs or sleep shirts.

Thanks all.....I've been wearing it on my bra today and yesterday...seems safest as some of my pants don't have pockets and I'm worried about it falling out of a pocket of those who do. I'll try the wristband on the inside Ian...thanks for that. I initially thought that the button might get pressed down inadvertently if I had it on the inside but since it fell out then I'll go to the inside.

I'm already surprised at how little steps I took yesterday even with cooking Christmas dinner I thought it would be more....certainly is motivating to get out there and move!!!

I love mine too. In the wristband, I haven't had a problem with it. Wearing it on your arm gives you the best reading for sleep measurements, as we move our arms the most. You take it out of the rubber casing to put it in the wristband. I often clip it on my very unsexy pajamas, at my wrist.

Have fun with it. I love mine. My daughter is getting one for her 10th birthday from her father. I hope she takes care of it.

I have the BodyMedia armband you see on the Biggest Loser shows, but it's expensive and there's a $7 monthly charge.  When I saw FitBit mentioned on these forums I investigated and found they are sold In Canada at AppleStores, so ordered 20 of them, one for eadh of my staff as a Christmas present.  Everyone seemed pleased with it, but I gave them receipts in case they wanted to take it back to Apple...so it's too early to judge whether it was a good gift selection.  Probably better than getting a turkey.  :)
