CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge: Time to post your weekly mileage. (Dec31-Jan6)
I had a great holiday, thank you. I got engaged :)
Walked my butt off this past week. Wish I had a "fitbit". hahahahha - that was for you Tracey.
My old trusty pedometer says that we walked 34.7 km for the A-Team.

Don't be hatin' on our FitBits woman. LOL. Yep, fancy pedometer and yet I am addicted to it. I do wonder how long I will stay in this craze. Better yet, how long will my 10-year-old who begged her father for one for her birthday?? (Who, by the way, decided on her own to eat better, as a New Year's Resolution. I don't know whether to be proud or scared for her. She is overweight, and she knows it :-( ).
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
All you can do is support and encourage her and be proud that she came to this on her own. She's only 10 and has a lot of years to fix it. I thank God every day that Jesse has his father's build and metabolism.
I'm only hating on your FitBits because of all the freakin' repeated posts about them last week. lol

Haha, Yeah I know! :D We're a bit obsessed.
It broke my heart when she asked me yesterday why Nick is so small and she is so big. (Nick is a rake, 43 pounds and 7 years old). She just turned 10 and is 4 foot 6 and 98 pounds. I support and encourage her daily. She keeps getting badges with her fitbit, and we both ran up and down the stairs to make our daily 10 flights of stairs goal. And last night at her first rehearsal for Joseph, she was hot and sweaty and kept checking her fitbit. She almost did 9,000 steps yesterday! i'm curious to see how she does today with her first day back to school. God forbid if she loses that thing! LOL
