Cleared for take off:)
Whew what a stressful morning! My replacement arrived late delaying my 1 hour plus drive for my meet with the surgeon appointment. Warp speed, hit Ottawa @ 1:06 (appointment scheduled for 1pm). Arrived at Civic hosp. 1:12. Stuck in huge lineup @ parking garage (accident), did impossible vehicle maneuver to turn around, circle parking lot about 10 times, finally ending up parking in no park zone (pretty amazing parallel parking whilst balling my eyes out, may I say). 1:45 sweating and crying I arrive at the reception desk. "No worries at all, the surgeon hasn't arrived yet". Funny part was surgeon arrived before I even sat down...apologizing profusely that she was late...I seriously could have kissed her!! After all that, the appointment I waited years for, planned around for weeks...the stress...all is good...cleared for surgery. Whew!!

No date as yet, in fact first thing she (Dr. Raiche) said is that she couldn't give specific dates...only a ball park of 6-8 weeks (possibly).

Parking was wacko today; every single lot was full! After many passes around the hospital I was so lucky to snag a street spot (with no parking sign) ...I was expecting a parking ticket for sure...but must have been my lucky day:)
