Finding myself lurking again, before and after pic to break the habbit
Aww. Thank you ![]()
Thank you. I am looking forward to the warmer weather. I'll be unstoppable
Great pictures! Congratulations. :)
I'm also finding myself posting less than I did right after surgery, simply because I'm going out and doing all sorts of things I couldn't do before surgery, and also because I don't post from work. I haven't completely gone lurker, but I can see how it could happen! Glad you're around, and thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you. It's easy to retreat into yourself if you're introverted like me. I don't do the gym group exercise thing, but I love running the trails with music I enjoy. I still feel self conscious when I run on the roads and sidewalks. Silly eh?
Not silly, really - understandable. I used to feel the same way when I would ride a bike on the road. I'd think people would be laughing at my fat butt on a bike. When really, they were probably thinking, "Good for her!"
I haven't rode a bike in ages. (My scooter-style e-bike doesn't count, since it doesn't actually take any leg power to ride!) Maybe someday. I never had any stamina even when I used to ride one. It might be kind of fun to try and take it up when I get thinner and see if I could get the energy to ride back and forth to work at some point. It's an 11 km ride one way with a couple of MAJOR hills, so I don't see it happening any time soon!
I don't see myself running (although you never know), it's just not something I've ever enjoyed, having always been large even as a kid, and it's never been something I've really wanted to do. But I do love walking, so I'm looking forward to being able to hike along the trails in Toronto - there are some amazing ones.
