What are you eating/Doing today?

Kelly, it's great to hear that you're doing so well! Take it easy at work tomorrow.
Here's my plan for the day:
B - Usual - greek yogurt, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/8 cup All Bran buds, SF peach syrup
S - 1/2 Pure Protein bar
L - 1/2 cup spinach salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, 1 tbsp. low fat ranch dressing, and 1 egg chopped up
S - Babybell gouda cheese, Premier protein drink before the track
D - 2 oz. Tilapia, 1 tbsp. dill sauce (sour cream and seasonings), 1/4 cup broccoli
S - 1 SF chocolate pudding cup, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 tbsp. protein powder (don't usually add this anymore, but feel like I'm low on my calories and protein today without it).
Totals - 860 calories, 59g carbs, 30g fat, 101g protein

I'm taking it easy by working half a day, and then lunching at a fancy restaurant. LOL
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Glad to hear the day isn't going to be too long for you, although getting there in the snow might be half the battle tomorrow. It's not a bad thing to start your work week on a Friday!

Hi Julia!
I've noticed that you usually eat Bran Buds daily(?) and was wondering....acording to my "Carb Bible" , Kellogg's has bran buds with "extra fiber"....have you ever come across this product? Probably only avail in the US, right?? Do you use the "Kellogg's" brand or, something different???? Thanx in advance for your input

I started using the All Bran Buds (Kelloggs) in my yogurt each morning after my NUT said I needed some more fibre in my diet. I have 1/8 cup per day, which has 30 cals, 8 grams of carbs and 4 grams of fibre. I haven't seen a version with extra
Some posters have recommended using the bran that you get in the baking section instead (the kind that you add to muffins and baking to bulk up the fibre). I'm going to check out the stats on that today - maybe there's less carbs/more fibre? I'll let you know my findings!

Hmm, not sure. When I check the Bran out at the grocery store today, I'll take a picture of the label. How are net carbs calculated?
