I got a call from Judy today at the Guelph bariatric medical program...meet the surgeon March 13th!! I know it may seem like a harder choice, having to be on opti for 12 weeks but if this helps me in getting to a more healthier weight, I am going all guns blazing for it!

Moving on doesn't mean you forget about things. It just means you have to accept what happened and continue LIVING

It's a new program alternative to surgery. Apparently first started at Hamilton now Guelph is giving it a go. 12weeks of opti but program is in fact 26 weeks long.

Thx! I'm more than willing to be one of the guinea pigs for this and will keep everyone posted on the pros/cons as they come about

I know how the first 12 weeks work... It is the following 14 that have me curious.

You will lose on the Opti. Even I did when I did nearly 16 weeks on it... It is the post opti phase which is key to keeping it off.
