Did anyone get surgery while still having a cold?

I actually asked Dr. Raiche this @ consult. I have a Home Daycare and am always catching the little one's colds. She said to call if I have a fever or find myself on antibiotics day of. Hope that helps. Sucks to get so close and have to worry about cancellation!

My surgery was scheduled for a Monday and Thursday the week before I got a terrible cold, sinus infection, no voice, the whole nine yards. They told me as long as I didnt have a fever they would do the surgery. I had a low grade temp and surgery was still done. It will probably depend on where you are scheduled as well. I was at TWH.
