Ask your doctor if Tramacet would work for your headache. I've used this for pain post op.

I was like you and only Advil seemed to help but we don't have much choice...
While on Opti I stopped drinking caffeine since I knew it would cause me headaches and I wanted to deal with the caffeine withdrawal while i was still able to take Advil.
Since surgery I have only used Tylenol Extra strength (500mg) and it seems to do the trick... I actually haven't had any headaches since surgery.
What about a diet coke ? The caffeine sometimes will jolt me out of a bad headache string. AND right now while on Opti it's allowed !!
After, sometimes a Tylenol Menstrual will work if my headache is muscle related.
Alternating hot and cold shower ? Ice pack ? Biofreeze (an excellent muscle thingy that always helps me, I buy it at the Chiropractors office)
I know you have probably tried most of these :( I hope you get rid of it soon (do you think it's weather related probly )
However being a migraine sufferer for many years i find since surg headaches are not so common anymore.
