Afternoon all,

please excuse my absence from the forums as some of you may have known I've ran into a few road blocks along the way due to a blockage in my right kidney and the military's red tape.

quick update after three escalating kidney tests they have confirmed a blockage(growth) in the pelvic area but bright side is I should be able to keep the kidney bad side is probable surgery to correct / biop the growth . For any brave men out there google  ureteroscopy .

Happy to report that the Kingston regional baritric centre  has approved my wls and have just the h pylori breath test left and then my file is sent to Humber

Its been a trying year for me and my family and I'm finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

once again it's reassuring to know there's vthis amazing community of support to turn to here and members are some of the finest bravest people I've met!

Best wishes on your kidney surgery and your WLS will happen sooner than you think right now.  Use the time to read, research, mentally prepare, etc. I used my waiting time doing these things and also cutting out carbs and trying to get my overeating under control. I did well and lost quite a bit of weight before surgery making for an easier surgery and recovery.
