Kitchener Waterloo Support groups

HI!  i am stil in the process for surgery.  Just waiting to meet with the surgeon and set a date.  i want to join a support group, is there any in Kitchener?

 

Yes!! There is one running out of  Cambridge I believe, if that isnt too far.

We meet on Sunday evenings. 630 at the Starbucks on Hespeler Road in Cambridge.  You can't miss us.. we are a large group.

We also have a Wednesday night coffee in a different location in Cambridge, but that is on hiatus for the summer.

 

Thank you for the info.  I will try to make it out.  Sundays are really hard for me, but it's worth a try.  you may see me there soon :)  Look forward to meeting the group.

Hey!  Good to hear from you.  Not only do we have a great group in Cambridge that meets every week, we are having a Souther Ontario CBPSO Meet and Greet here in October!  Great support from people all over Ontario!

Are you on Facebook?  We have a pretty active, local support group there too.  If you can't always make coffee - that's a great place to ask questions or look for support.

I'm Ericafg on facebook - add me as a friend and I'll put you in our group.  It's "secret" to protect people who are "in the closet" about WLS - so you can't search it.  Just remind me who you are, and that you're from OH, and I'll add you in.
