Today I got the call I was waiting for and I get to meet Dr Jules Foute-Nelong on july 25 at 9:00am so I was wondering how long after do you usually start optifast and have the surgery?

Have you gone for all the other appointments?

If so and you are meeting the surgeon... that is awesome!

I believe in Hamilton after you meet the surgeon, it's usually 2 months before you get the date for your surgery.

Hi. I had this surgeon. Usually within 4 to 6 weeks of meeting the surgeon, your surgery will take place. As to how soon you start opti will depend on how long he recommends you be on it. Mine was for 2 weeks before surgery day. You will buy the opti at Guelph when you see the surgeon.

He is a great surgeon.
