6 MONTH UPDATE
Well today marks 6 months since I have had surgery and what a 6 months it has been.
I have currently lost 105.5 pounds as of this morning. I am down from size 24/22 to a 12 pants and large in tops.
As for excerize well I mainly walk but have gotten back into biking lately and loving it. In the fall hubby and I will be joining the YMCA.
The first 5 months I found was great stuck to plan no real hunger and then after 5 months I found that I was starting to feel like I wanted to eat more plus I was stressed a bit and I was exercising more but it is still a very slippery slope because if you do no****ch you can go of course very easily. I am now back on track did increase my calories a bit and lost 3lbs last week.
I do attend a support group at TWH which I am missing as we have not had one since June and attend Danforth coffee group I have meet some wonderful people through these supports groups. One thing I would tell any newbie is find yourself a support or coffee group in your area or start your own group with people that have gone through the surgery it really helps.
Happy six months to me and here is to the rest of my life.
