Heyy gals and guys!! update on my crazy life! .. LOL!

Good evening everyone! 

How is everyone doing? It's been quite a while since I posted on the forum. I have been maintaining my weight pretty well, my eating has been ok, could be better but I'm doing ok considering how crazy things have been lately. My 3yr surgiversary is coming up Sept 14th... Gosh how time flies! 

 

I have had a CRRRAAAAZZZZZZZYYY summer! Went to Pembroke for a wedding, went back for another that I was in at the end of July. Planned my own wedding too! I have been working my butt off at my hospital full time, started cleaning at a golf course and cleaning houses too. Busy busy busy

He is AMAZING!! We have been thru thick and thin (LOL, no pun intended!) and have conquered many things in our time together! Everything is going super well. We couldn't be happier!!

Hi, I really enjoyed your pictures, thank you and you look just lovely.  Looks like you are keeping the weight off which is great. 

I'll be having my surgery on Sept 5th and I'm on the 2 weeks of Optifast just now.  Just getting started on the journey so hopefully we can get some good advice from you along the way.

I am doing pretty well at keeping it off.. it isn't easy some days. I will admit, this is THE BEST decision that I ever made for myself, my health and my future! :D I would never turn back the clock, ever!

 

I really enjoyed the optifast stage. Where are you having your surgery?

I'm having surgery at HRRH, Dr. John Hagen is my doctor, he is very nice and I've heard very good things about him.  I'm having a revision from the band to RNY as the band just isn't working for me, have lots of reflux problems.  Hope to have this problem solved.

Yeah, I'm really liking the optifast also and its a great way to get started.  I am nervous, but I love it when I hear people like yourself say it's the best thing you ever did.  I'm really happy for you and it's very encouraging also.

So, I'm just counting the days now, it's getting close.

Leanne, you look amazing! Congratulations. I love it when people post pics with their stories.

Cathy, Dr Hagen is also doing my lapband revision to bypass Nov 5 th. He said he does a fair amount of band to bypass's I also have a reflux problem, not when I have no fill but as soon as I do I wake up aspirating in the night, scary stuff.

Leanne, you look fantastic, so nice to hear that people do actually keep it off. Has been too many stories lately of people regaining most or all of their weight. Thanks for the inspiration.
