Oh hey I'm a little early for my appointment...

Thank you :) I was a walking zombie for a while but seem to have come to my senses now thank goodness! And luckily they fit me in at 11 today so I don't have to go back, just wait for them to call with a surgeon's appointment ;) But for sure, better really early then to have missed it - it would be December I think before I'd get back in again!! 

Very sorry to hear about your Dad.    But very happy you managed to get squeezed in today for your appt. Hope it went well!

Thank you! I think it went well - they psychologist didn't mention needing to meet with me again but I guess I won't know for sure if I need to go bac****il they all review my file :)

Congrats on sticking with  your eating plan even though you were under duress.  Please remember this success for future events that can potentially derail your eating.  You have the strength to do it!  I am glad to hear that they were able to fit you in today so you didn't have to make the trip again tomorrow.

Thanks so much Judy :) I will definitely take this experience forward and at times of stress remember that in the greatest time of stress I managed to stay on track, so it is possible!

I am glad to hear your dad is ok. I can totally relate as my dad also suffered a heart attack in January, we never realize how short life really is until something major happens...luckley your dad && mine is safe and sound. As for showing up a day early lol, that is funny. You poor thing, I remember last year I had a surgery for a D&C scheduled and I showed up on Monday just to be told it was Tuesday lol. I am happy you got in tho, we are at the same part now...my surgeon app is this Fri with Dr. Aarts and my best friend is also this Friday with the same surgeon 30 after me :D Add me on FB Chriistel Barbie McLarty

Thanks :) Thank goodness your Dad is ok too! It really shoved my own weight issues in my face, not that I wasn't aware obviously but it just really made any lingering doubts about the surgery or feeling like I needed to binge vanish!!

Congrats on getting your surgeon appointment - good luck! Definitely let us know when you're booked for! I'm so so so hoping I can get this surgery done before Christmas, so even if I'm booked for December I'm fine with that but if I could get in for November.. fingers crossed. My file will go for review tomorrow so I'm on pins and needles hoping they are able to get to it and it doesn't get pushed to next Thursday, and that I don't have to come back for any other appointments! Good luck to your friend as well - what a coincidence that you both went through the process at the same speed! It must be awesome having a good friend to do this all with :) 

OMG....you poor soul. Well it got you away from everything for a bit!
