need help

So today i called my surgeons office to see if i could be put on a cancelation list for gastric bypass. My surgery was booked for oct.
The lady told me they had one spot avalible for sept 20 and that i would have to start opti fast today. She told me it would be at 1pm amd i would need to be there at 11am
She said she would call me back to confirm everything and book my patts testing
she never called me back and when i tried calling the office was closed
Do i start opti fast? Do i assume i have that date not sure what to do

If she gave you the date and especially the time, I assume you have the spot so if I were you, I would start opti....but that's my opinion!

Yes, start the Opti.  I think for some reason, perhaps that she forgot, she didn't call you back.
