What are eating / doing today
Morning, the fall fair was a blast last night ,everyone had lots of fun..
B- NF Greek yogurt with splenda.
S- some protein shake.
L- LF turkey slice with 1 oz LF cheese and dill pickle.
S- NS choc pudding
D- omlette with green pepper mushrooms and LF cheese..
S- Roasted chick peas..

At least I go the day right today. This short week has thrown me. But TGIF!! I biked home yesterday. what a horrible ride. The wind kept gusting into my face. At one point on Queens Quay I had to stop. It felt like I was biking into a wall. Sure slept well.

s. wine
need to do some grocery shopping for veggies!

One week post op - woohoo!!
B - Tried some hot cereal - took a tiny bite of that and said nope... not gonna happen. So cottage cheese it was :)
S - Protein Shake
L - Some soup - with protein powder in it... what a surprise

D - probably some greek yogurt

Yesterday was a struggle with all the vitamins, but I am on track for today so far.

Good morning. Fall fair, and crazy bike winds....Fall is really here isn't it? :-( I used to love the crispness of the fall weather, but on this morning's run, I was freezing and wishing I had mittens. Oh well. I don't miss my fat, but it sure kept me warm!! LOL
So, today's menu is very off. I am trying out a WLS version of carb-loading for my 32K (maybe 35K) run tomorrow. I am testing the waters to see how to eat for my marathon.
2.5 years post RNY - marathon training...maintenace
B: Starbucks Cheese and Fruit bistro box (no almonds and cranberries)
S: 1/4 cup roasted soya nuts
L; Chicken breast and butternut squash
S; protein shake made with almond milk, banana and pb2
D: whole wheat pasta (1 cup) and homemade ground turkey and veggie sauce

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Today is pretty social for me. Lunch at a thai food place with a coworker (although, not back to work for another 2 weeks). And a playdate/pizza dinner night.
