What are you eating/doing today(Saturday)

I am having trouble getting motivated to do anything today. Feeling very lazy. I need to get my dog out for a run but it hasn't stopped raining. He loves to swim but will not go out in the rain.

Other than that just running errands

b. 2 eggs toast

l cottage cheese, blueberries, sf pudding

s. protein shake if home or protein bar if out

d. salmon patty, salad, some kind of veg

so far cal 1031 carb 92.6, prot 97.6

The rain is blah at the moment. At my Dr.'s office at the moment picking up paperwork for my work and having my incisions looked at. They are fine I just need confirmation.

B- cottage cheese
S- protein shake

That is all I got so far but the rest of the day has some soup, yogurt and maybe some pudding if I am lucky.

Good afternoon,

Yucky day outside today!  I decided to use our recumbent bike for 40 mins instead of going for a run - was a nice change up and quite a good workout!

Here's my plan for the day:

B - Banana/Egg pancake with some berries

L - Egg and back bacon

S - Quest PB Cups

D - Salmon, grilled veggies with feta, probably a couple of pieces of bread as appetizer (we're having friends over and my husband makes a great bruschetta mix).

S - SF Jello, SF Pudding

Totals - 1,563 calories, 125g carbs, 78g fat, 102g protein

Don't blame you, Pat - it's icky out there.  Hubby and I went and had lunch at our favourite little restaurant around the corner, because what else is there to do on a rainy day when you want to get out of the house? :)

Today is my 10 month surgiversary, and I hit 150 lbs lost today exactly.  I'm pretty happy about that.  It's fun when round numbers on the scale and on the calendar coincide.  Feeling pretty good.

Not sure what else I'm doing today - I think mostly just stuff around the house that I've been neglecting.  And I have to make a couple of wedding cards as well, one of which is extremely late, and the other of which is for a shower at work on Monday.  And I have to go out to buy a gift certificate as well.  Nothing much activity-wise, unless I get doing some stuff around the house that requires some energy.

10 MONTHS POST-RNY

B - 1/2 cup ricotta/splenda/vanilla plus 1 cup mixed blueberries and raspberries

L - I had an open-faced pear and brie sandwich with side salad that had some pecans and shaved cheese on it...kind of deadly since I'm sure the brie was full fat, and they put some honey in the sauce they drizzled on it, but it was in the middle of the afternoon and I won't be hungry until supper so I'll probably survive it today.  And I didn't overeat it - I stopped when I was full.  But this is going to kill my carb AND fat total for today, with not much protein to show for it.  Oh well.

D - Ground beef tacos - I'll have about 3 oz of ground beef done with the taco spice (from the package - mother of the year award again!), along with some shredded cheddar cheese, light sour cream, salsa and veggies on top.

S - Premier Protein shake, just to get my protein totals up a bit for today - I have to go out to Costco to get them, though!

TOTALS: 89g protein, 52g fat, 88 carbs (73 net carbs), 1164 calories

Was planning to go to the Cabbagetown festival today but the rain delayed that until tomorrow.  Instead we decided to go to Pacific mall with a friend who loved a piece of Japanese pottery we gave her as a housewarming gift and wanted to visit the store - which we discovered had closed about 2 years ago.  But had a lovely lunch.

B - 1/8 c bran buds, 1/8 c Kashi go lean, 1/2 c milk

L - scrambled egg with 1.5 slices of lean ham and 2 Tbsp shredded old cheddar

D - salmon teriyaki, 1/8 c edamame

S - 2 containers of source greek yogurt vanilla

S - 2 oz smoked salmon, 2 Tbsp cream cheese

Totals: 862 Cal, 73 Carbs, 25 Fat, 74 Protein

The Pacific Mall is so great.  I keep meaning to go there earlier in the day and spend some real time there.  I keep going sort of near closing time just when we're passing through.

Another fun place to go is the Mississauga Flea Market on Mavis Drive.  There's a great bra shop there with a fellow who can take one look and "size you up". :)
