WLS and menopause....
Well, I had a full on hysterectomy 10 years ago, and wasn't really effected by it. Now after my surgery, I understand what hot flashes are, and go through cycles of hot then cold, freezing really in 20 minutes intervals quite often in the middle of the night. Also, I used to carry my weight on my hips and butt, so when I lost weight before, I had a really girly figure. Now, my lower half is like a boy's, no butt really and my waist is thicker so I am carrying my weight in my upper body. I am noticing on many people's after pictures that it looks like they are carrying weight on upper body, so I wonder if this has something to do with WLS and where the fat comes off of.
On the bright side, no one calls me "sir" anymore without the extra bulk. Oh yea...my hair loss is like male pattern baldness.
Despite all that...I'd do it again in a healthy heartbeat!
Mine is actually a whole lot better after WLS then it was before.
