Since we have surgery on the same day I know exactly how you feel! It's nerve racking. Just try not to think about it. If I think about it I freak out, lol. I have PATTS tomorrow and today is the first day of my second week on Opti. If I start to think too much, I just play Candy Crush on facebook, lol.
Congratulations you are almost there with the Opti. Your day will be here before you know it. It's so normal to feel scared and I think most of us do feel this way. I was weighing the pros and cons right up to the week of surgery still. Although, I knew I was definitely doing it I still had those thoughts. I have to say it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. You will be so happy.

Having some nervousness before surgery is perfectly natural. Take a deep breath. You are almost there. You have done a great job so far so hang in there. Oct 22 will be before you know it! Opti truly is just a blip on the whole journey. I wholeheartedly agree with earlier respond that you need to take lots of pics of yourself and measurements now so that you have comparisons as you go along. They are motivational too so that when you have those moments that you are wondering why the scale hasn't moved or if it is alll worth it, you pull out the measurements and the pics and realize just how far you have come.
