Anyone heard from Katie M lately?
Hey guys,
I've been away from the forum for a number of days, and will probably not be on much for awhile - my stepmom's health has taken a turn for the worst, so I've temporarily "moved home" to help my Dad with her care. Anyway, I was browsing through backlogs of posts, and noticed that I hadn't seen anything from her for like a week. She's pretty recently had surgery, and had some concerns about possible complications. I'm just hoping nothing bad has happened!
So, has anyone been chatting with her?

I'm around! Just not as much to say lately :) No complications to speak of, incision sites are healing properly and I've tolerated all food no problem - I may have even busted through the week 3 stall this morning with a whole 1.2 pounds gone! I appreciate you thinking of me - thank you!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your stepmom. It's scary how fast things can change. But I'm sure both she and your dad really appreciate you moving home to help - and it must be nice to get to spend time with her. I've had you in my thoughts and hope for a miracle for her.
