Help, getting sick and no call back from centre.

I am getting sick, sore throat, fever, cough, aches.

I called my center to see what I can take over the counter and they never called back.

Can I take Tylenol Cold Day/Night?

I don't know what you can or can't take from a medication standpoint, but I'd suggest that you be extra vigilant about staying hydrated.

Best bet is to go to the pharmacist and tell him/her you're not allowed to have NSAIDS, but you need to take something that will help. I was told by my pharmacist that Buckley's Cold & Cough tablets were fine, that's what I've always used pre-op and find they work well for me. But double check with your pharmacist! I want to say Tylenol Cold should be fine, but sometimes there are hidden NSAIDS in meds we think are ok. Just double check with the pharmacist.

Tylenol products are fine as they have no Nsaids in them.  Just ask a pharmacist instead of your centre.  Your only restriction is no Nsaids and nothing time-released, otherwise anything is safe to use.

Tylenol products are acetaminophen based and just fine.  Just avoid time release formulas.
