Support group in Dufferin County

Hi all;

Saw the social worker yesterday, and she went through all the support groups that she knew of, and we couldn't find any in dufferin county. Does anyone here know of any? She said there's been a bunch of people from the Orangeville area recently, so there may be one....

Orientation at HRH - Jan 13, 2014. 1st Meeting with Surgeon (Dr. Klein) & blood work - Jan 30th. Sleep study - Feb 5th. RN, Dietician & Social Worker exams - Feb 25th, Internist - April 9th. Dr Klein -April 23rd,PATTs Sept 2nd, Surgery, Sept 16, 2014, Opti Starting Weight - 343LB (Aug 26th). Surgery weight 315LB CW 215 17-Aug-2015)

I haven't been able to find any. The closest one I know of is in Brampton, not sure if they're still meeting or not...

Referral May 2013 / orientation at TWH June 27 / nurse practitioner July 3 / social worker August 19 / nutrition class August 26 / nutritionist August 30 / psychologist September 3 / meet surgeon (Dr. Penner) September 20 / PATTS October 10 / Surgery October 18 2013!

Hey, I am living in Orangeville and had my surgery with Dr. Sohi at HRRH on Nov 15th, 2013. I'm not aware of any support groups in our area. Would be nice though!!
