Hydrolyzed protein?

i found these mini smoothies called PTG hydrolyzed protein. They have 28g of protein and 1g of carbs. Has anyone tried these and are we allowed to take hydrolyzed protein after surgery?

From what I read, hydrolyzed protein is protein that has been broken down into amino acids, which isn't unlike the isolate protein that we are advised to take. So a hydrolyzed WHEY protein is likely okay. Check that it doesn't say "collagen protein" - this isn't what you want. Also you didn't mention the sugar content - keep your eye on that as well.
