Blood work?

Hello just wondering if anyone knows at what point do we go do our final blood work done?  I had mine done before I seen the nurse but now I've completed all the appointments and I see the surgeon next week .... wondering if we are supposed to have it done before surgery

I had my final blood work done at my pre op appointment.  Not sure if all centres are the same (I am through Guelph).

  • Referral:  Feb 2013/ Guelph  
  • RNY May 20th 2014 (Dr. Bhojani)                                                                         
  • 2nd RNY (revision due to marginal ulcers) Aug. 10th 2015 ( Dr. Bhojani)  
  • Revision to VSG (marginal ulcers): March 22nd 2016 (Hamilton, Dr. Hong)
  • Total Gastrectomy:  Dec. 15th 2016 (Hamilton, Dr. Hong)

Some centers do blood work just before to check your levels going in but also to ensure you don't smoke.
