1st apt FINALLY!!!!

I had my orientation at HRRH February 27th and at the orientation we were told we would get out 1st apt in 4-6 weeks. Well 19 weeks later I finally got my 1st apt for August 11th. It's been a long wait and I know I have a lot more waiting to do but I'm excited to finally be moving forward. Luckily I took this long wait so far to get my eating habits under control and have been going to the gym 4 times a week. I'm happy to be on the right track now hopefully it's not too long until surgery.

It's like being at the top of a big slide or a roller coaster isn't it?  Enjoy the journey, it sounds like you have a solid plan on how you are going to approach your reclaimed health.

It won't be long until you're post-op, I promise. Use this time to become informed on the surgery choices and making changes to your food plan. Fitbit! And journal your bum off. Good luck :)

Congrats!! Finally :) so I'll expect something in a few months since I'm about 5 weeks behind you. I've done the same thing with the lifestyle changes and that's making the wait not as bad. Keep in touch and good luck with your first appointment!! :)
