Recommendations for a clinic for a Sleep Test

Hi Everyone,

just recently started this journey. I have been referred and matched to Toronto Western Hospital. I want to be a proactive and get a sleep test done early. I have a consult appointment at the Oshawa Sleep Clinic in October, but my overnight sleep study is not untill March. Any places in the GTA where I could get this done quicker?

I'm not from GTA, but if you have an appointment, see if you can be put on a cancellation list.  If you can, you would get it quicker.  The only downside is that you may be getting a call for a same day/night appointment.

There is a sleep clinic here in Brampton where I went to, they might have an earlier time.  

I believe your dr has to set up the appointment- but I got in within days at The Paris Sleep Lab (Paris, Ont) if you are willing to drive about 1Hr out of Toronto you might want to give it a shot......it may be worth even a phone call to see what their wait times are like.  :)

I had mine at my local hospital and my family doctor referred me. I waited about 2 weeks.

There is a Dr in Ajax that if your family doctor sends you to he uses a sleep clinic in Scarborough not to far away.  His name is Dr. Philteos on Harwood Ave.  I went to the Oshawa clinic but got in with a cancellation very quickly, I think within 2 weeks. My inlaws went to Dr Philteos and had appointments for their sleepover within a few weeks.  You could try this and see if it speeds it up for you.
