Yes, you can give it a try. Hopefully your body will adjust to night shift on its own.

I use melatonin most nights.  For me, I have found the spray to be much more effective than the pill form.

I didn't know that it came in a spray. Will check that out. Thanks!

Yes, we can. I asked the WMC when I had trouble sleeping if we could use it. It helps...but I tend to have wacky dreams...not a bad thing. Very entertaining actually. My DH also takes it to re-adjust after working night shifts...and it's safe for him as a heart patient.

Hope you can get some much needed z's.

Hi Tanya, Sorry to hear about your trouble sleeping.  Melatonin never worked for me when I was on nights.  Some people swear by it.  A lot of the people I worked nights with used to take gravol.  That never worked for me either.  I ended up getting Immovane from my doctor.  I didn't take it all the time, but it was a lifesaver when I hadn't slept well for a few days, to finally get some sleep.

Hope you adjust soon.  I have been a bad sleeper my whole life, so sleeping days, was pretty much the same as sleeping nights for me.

Good luck
