I had a question I wanted to be considered for a revision or a duel switch. My surgeon does not do that only sleeve and RYN . What are my options here and which path do I need to take. Any advise help

 Orientation: July 23 2012       Dr Sullivan : August 16, 2012 Dietician, SW, RN, Sept 26, 2012    Dr Sullivan Oct 17, 2012 and pick up Optifast   PATTS: October 24, 2012         Surgery: November 6, 2012. Starting weight 277 surgery weight 268

If your ticker is correct, you'd not qualify for anything. You need to meet the criteria same as you would have needed to meet it for your first surgery. If it's just a small regain, why not just go back to basics? FYI, it's duodenal switch and your surgeon does RNY not RYN. If your BMI is high enough to qualify then all you can do it ask for referral back to the registry for a revision. You likely wouldn't get the same surgeon as you did the first time as virgin surgeries are far easier than revisions and not all surgeons do revisions.
