Psychologist Assesment
Good afternoon Ontario OH friends,
This morning I had my assesment with the psychologist at TOH. It was a long appointment, 3 hours, but it went well and I have been approved to move on to the next stage.

I'm super excited for you. Keep us posted on next steps... I don't know the Ottawa procedure - meet the surgeon next, or have you done that?
Hopefully Ottawa moves quickly, and maybe you will have surgery as early as this summer!!!! :)

Thanks Oneatatime. Next step is a group pre-surgery class, after that I will meet the surgeon and hopefully get a date. I know the next class is July 11th and they run every second week. I have my fingers crossed that I can be in the July 11th class.

I don't know about TWH but Ottawa requires 2 group classes prior to surgery. The first is after the NP then the second class before you can meet with the surgeon. Each Centre is a little different.
