I pick it up in the states. Aunt Millie's is the brand. I don't eat bread often so I just keep it in the freezer and take a couple of slices out when I want them.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Well... I'm in Canada so I went in the Canadian Amazon and found one for $45 all in 2 day delivery, came in one day. But you have to have a Prime account... Which is fine because it is free for the first month.

So it is a SMART BRACELET, MODEL: LS417-F

It does heart rate monitor, pedometer, sleep monitor, distance, alerts you to move if you sit too long, calories burned, time, alarm, sync with cell for call and TXT alerts. You disconnect the strap and it has a USB charger. It is really neat and it is slim wrist band and all. I don't find it bothersome and I usual hate wearing bracelets, watches etc.

I have a Garmin. Would've connected with you but the two are not compatible.

Have fun with it. It can be a PITA or a real motivator. Depends on the day. When mine beeps at me at work I get up and climb the three flights of stairs and back down again. Resets it as long as I go when it first beeps. If I wait too long, I just do it twice.

Good morning all,

Sunshine this morning, who knows after that. I'm having a baby shower on Sunday afternoon for my daughter so please pray for sun. If it rains, we will be indoors but our pond and decks look nice from my husband's hard work. It's all good.

I have been on a plateau since coming back last weekend, and I'm not bothered by it. But I have looked at my eating plan and it could definitely be better. Last night, as my husband brought his pizza to bed, I nibbled on a piece of his crust. It went down just fine. I have said no bread, pasta or rice during the first year, so I smacked myself and have recommitted. My husband told me I shouldn't eat his crust. I looked hard at him. He then said he shouldn't bring his pizza to bed with him. Smart man - lol.

If you've plateaued try upping your protein number. I lose/lost better with higher protein numbers. Use the room being taken up by veggies for protein (even just for a couple of days) see if it helps.

My first six months 99% of my meals contained nothing but protein (unless yogurt/protein drinks they do have some carbs).

Will do Ginnny. Thanks. Just trying to listen to the dietician's advice about lowering protein and adding in other groups - but I agree with you and will do so for the next couple of weeks. I can easily do without the other - other than maybe berries for the unsweetened Skyr. Still trying to stick to the plain and haven't upgraded to vanilla yet (more sugar).

Enjoy your weekend.

Hi guys,

Another rainy day here, but it should clear up later on, I think.

I took it easy yesterday, yay, and now feel super lazy. I'll either walk or swim later, as the puddles are covering the sides of the roads and I hate to get my bike dirty, lol.

Yesterday I couldn't eat my supper (lost track of time) but got enough protein in with the other meals and snacks. I added a babybel light cheese to up the calories a bit.

Breakfast: 2 cups decaf coffee with 1/3 cup of chocolate premier protein, for a mocha flavor (yum). I"m going to start doing 1/4 cup of protein in my decaf instead so 1 container will last for 2 days; I'm going through them so fast, lol. About half an hour after my decaf, I have my real breakfast, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup blueberries. Love it.

Lunch: 1 egg omelette with cheese and cherry tomatoes added in.

Supper: BBQ'd burger patty with cheese slice.

Snack: Watermelon, beef jerky. I have to make more as I only have 1 serving left; yikes. It really makes a wonderful high protein snack though.

Totals: 620 calories, 28 g carbs, 27 g fat, 3 g fibre, 64 g protein, 22 g sugar.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

Post Op VSG 9.5 Months

Late morning today, don't have work today so I got to sleep in which was really nice. Had a long and physically rigorous day yesterday carrying and holding a lot of heavy boxes for work so I'm taking it easy today.

I've been sticking to 700-900 calories in the past few months but I'm going to try to slowly up them to about 1000 and see how my body reacts. I've had such low energy ever since surgery and my muscles are in pain all the time, so maybe eating more will help me feel more energized. My NUT wanted me to be at 1000 calories 3 months out, and I'm worried about my metabolism adjusting to such a low calorie intake for extended periods of time. I'm hoping that once I reach my goal weight I can maintain within a normal calorie range of someone my age and height, so I'm going to see if I can still steadily lose weight at 1000 calories for now, and maybe up to 1200 by the 1 year mark. Anyways, for now I'm going to go up to 950 for the next few days and see how my body reacts.

Today's eats:

B: 0.5 cup high fibre bran cereal, 2.5oz strawberries, half an Atkins French Vanilla shake

L: 3oz chicken souvlaki, 0.5oz feta cheese, 1 mini cucumber, 0.5oz tzatziki sauce

D: 2oz shrimp, 1 hard boiled egg, 1 cup spinach, 0.5oz feta cheese, 1tbsp salad dressing

S1: 1 babybel, 1 mini chicken sausage, 0.5oz pistachios

S2: Chocolate Premier Protein w/ decaf coffee

Totals: 936 cals, 50g carbs - 23g fibre = 27 net carbs, 102g protein
