Hello All,

Sorry been really busy since going back to work after 2.5 years and not been on to post in a while. I do read what you all have been up to and am inspired by you all.

Well today... I thought I would go shopping since I need more pants for work and what I have been wearing are a bit baggy. I actually fit into an 11/12... in my adult life I have never been that size. Heck I don't even remember the last time I have been this small.

Needless to say I was doing a happy dance in the change room.

So I am down 85lbs and 6.5 months post op.

Thanks to all who inspire me!! I am loving my new tool and for all the preop people. The journey can be tough at times but it is so worth it. Stick to what you have been doing and you will be sweetly rewarded.

Thanks,

Laura

Way to go Laura, u r doing an amazing job! It is truly amazing to feel the way we do when u go into a change room and we just want to cry in joy of what we have accomplished already through our journey's! I don't know about u but I find myself bringing in so many different sizes when I try stuff on still and people r looking at me like something must be seriously wrong with me, lol ( it must be my fat brain thinking there's no way I will fit in that size!) Hopefully that will start to change as well. Glad to hear that u have returned to work as well that must be so exciting for u as well! Keep up the great work that u have accomplished! Take care!

Thanks Angela... yea it was a long time coming returning for sure... but I am so happy.

I seem to be getting used to my new size. I only took in the 11/12 And 1 size 14 but thought it would be too big after holding it up. Its hard to believe it was just a few months ago we were that much bigger... I never thought this change would happen as quick as it has.

You are doing amazing girl... keep it up!! I figure another 35 to 40lbs for me to hit my goal. However I can tell you right now I am super happy!!

Keep up the awesome work Angela!!

Your roomie!!

I absolutely agree with u can't even believe how fast we have changed, some people I work with don't even recognize me, it so funny! As for my goal I feel amazing for where I am at right now, but I would like to be 175 but no more than that because I don't think I would look right 189 right now so 14 more pounds to reach that goal. I have stalled right now and have been for about 1.5 weeks! Still measuring everything but I think I may need to increase my fluids to 3 liters a day because I sometimes feel dizzy when I stand up to fast! I will play around with it to see if it helps!
