When are we able to eat some of the noodles or rice in Chicken Noodle/Chicken Rice soup. We made a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup with veggies and chicken... and its hard to dodge the noodles but I still want the veggies and chicken so if I swallow a noodle is it deterimental? In our guide it says we can have cut up noodles in the book but obviously eat protein first

Soup is a slider food, I would avoid until you're at goal. But no, a noodle won't hurt you, but again, no carbs!! Protein, protein, and more protein.

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

If you want the soup, have it. I would try to keep the noodles or rice to a minimum... they can get sticky in your pouch, and we don't need the carbs, especially so early out... but it sounds like you want the soup, and being less than a month out from surgery, I'm sure it'd be delicious!! Have the soup, get more chicken and veg than noodles... take it slow and see how you feel. :)

Bon appétit!
