Had surgery yesterday
Yesterday I had my surgery at St. Joe's in Hamilton with Dr Gmora (who was very nice). Everything went fine, I am feeling nauseous and sore which is to be expected. I could not walk around yesterday which I wanted to do but felt as if I would fall over but today I feel more steady and will try. The one thing I do have is the hiccups really bad which is not helping my stomach pain but apart from I am good.
A big thanks to the Burlington group who met on Saturday at fortinos as they helped my last minute feelings of doubt.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
Congrats! I had Dr. Gmora as well. Walk as much as you can today and sip your water. Hope everything keeps going smoothly as you watch the weight drop off.

Dr Gmora is fab! St.Joes in Hamilton is also a great hospital. I'm almost 6 weeks post op.
Just remind yourself to take it easy, walk as much as you can and sip away. It will get better as time goes on.
