One was for the Chobani conversion chart image, which I use as a guideline in my baking, although many things I've found I can replace one for one with Greek yogurt and it still tastes good (this works with any brand too if that's what you mean) and the other was for the Ontario recipes forum.

AHHHHH I must have cursed OH like twenty times yesterday because each time I checked back to this post it showed I didn't post it. So I went back and tried again...and again... well you get the picture. Then I just gave up and thought well at least I tried!!!
But, yes I do love this recipe... do you think I should have stopped at four posts?

Hey Mermaidz,
I notice that this recipe uses Splenda Brown Sugar blend in it. That is a mixture of real brown sugar and splenda, so that's perhaps why the carbs are a little higher. Have you considered using a brown sugar alternative. There is brown sugar twin (which is aspartame I believe) but I've always had success with using regular splenda and SF Maple Syrup to give it the brown sugar taste.
Like Tracey mentioned, you can use protein powder in your baking as well, I like to do that and have had good results with it, you just need to adjust your liquids and baking time. Recipes with protein powder tend to need more liquid and require less time in the oven.
To further limit the carbs and up the protein, you can substitute Greek Yogurt 0% plain for the milk. This chart online offers a handy conversion....
Have you looked on the Ontario recipe forum? I posted this recipe a while ago and it's always been a hit even with non-ops...

It was nice meeting you as well Juls, and all the other new faces!
Karen- I'm glad you and Verity enjoyed the fish tacos! Thank you again for organizing!

Yep that's the foamies... It's not a pleasant experience and can happen for several reasons, including not chewing enough or eating too fast. Don't be too afraid of whatever food you were eating that caused it, just give yourself a break from it for a few days before you try it again. Feel better!

Optifast is designed to take all four pouches in a day. Doing so would provide you with the 900 calories as per the name on the box (Optifast 900--as this is what most centres provide). If you were only to take 3 shakes a day, that would mean your caloric intake is only about 675 a day, which in my opinion is not a safe long term state to be in. Try and get your other shakes in and good luck!

If you want a recipe for a sugar-free and low fat (oats have fat so you can't be fat free) oatmeal raisin (or you could do just plain oatmeal or oatmeal chocolate chip) cookie recipe, I have a delicious one I've been playing with.

Way to go on such an amazing year! You are progressing so well--Keep it up!

I never thought I'd see a four either but they are stretchy so, maybe Ricki's is just being nice LOL.
Ricki's goes to size 18 and they had tights up to a size XL/XXL, which I would assume would fit a 16/18. Here is the link to the product, that has the sizing chart based on height and weight is that's helpful too. The price is different in store though (they had a two for twenty promo). Hope this helps!

Hey everyone,
I know I'm not the only one who has gone from having an internal heater to an icebox, so I just thought I'd mention a new find. I bought fleece lined tights at Ricki's the other day. They are thin and not bulky opaque tights that have a super soft plush/fleece lining. They keep you really warm, even when wearing skirts and dresses in the colder weather. I bought a pair to try and went back and bought a couple more pairs because they are just that good/comfy/warm/awesome (choose your adjective of choice!).
Stay toasty my friends!
P.S. NSV for me, I also bought a pair of size four pants while I was there... so over all a good trip! LOL

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your upcoming surgery! I had Dr. Starr as well and he did an excellent job, so you're in good hands!
P.S. Optifast isn't too bad... I actually enjoyed the chocolate! LOL

Oh my goodness, that does not sound very pleasant at all! Rest up and feel better!
