Ok, so I had a Breast Augmentation and Inverted T Tummy Tuck 1 week ago. Tonight while curled up with my blankies in front of the TV I had these really sharp pains in my nipple area of one breasts. The sometimes traveled down, and sometimes stayed localized. The were not constant, and the group of them only lasted about 5 minutes. Anyone else experence anything like this? Thanks all. -L.

Laura, It is very common to have episodic pains in the breasts after surgery. Some patients even describe them as electric shocks. They are generally self limited and resolve after a few weeks to months. It's probably nothing to worry about but do mention it to your surgeon on your next visit. Have a good recovery. Laura, no offense to Dr. Krieger, but don't you just LOVE the way the male doctors can be so nonchalant about the searing pains we get in one of the most sensitive areas of our bodies. Episodic pain, my happy lifted A$$... those things hurt like crazy!!!! I didn't have BA, I had a BR and man were those nips sensitive. And then, out of the blue, Lefty takes it upon herself to have the highbeams come on for no apparent reason and the pressure was intense. That would happen about every hour for about three weeks. Was I ever glad when she got over THAT. According to my PS it is just the nerves coming back together and nothing to worry about. I hope that was it for you 'cause Lord knows there is nothing you can do about it...except try not to look to insane when you're jolted and jumping just out of the blue! Take care, Mary

I remembered the sensations from when I had my arms done. It must be bizarre in your breasts. LOL i would have been rubbing them. Hope they stop soon and LOL at what Mary said. Donna
