What size implants did you get?
Hi Linda,
I'm on my 2nd day out of surgery for a BL/BA...I was able to roll my former twins up into a B cup and with a lot of side padding in a push up bra it did not look to bad but I did not have anything on the top you could call breast...Anyway, I tried on 300 and 330 cc implants in a tester bra with a couple of my favorite shirts at the surgeons office for my consult...Pretty much decided to go with the 300's then at the last minute decided on 330...Obviously today I cannot say what size I actually am yet, but surgeon told me I would probably settle into a nice full C in about 3 months with the 330's I ended up with, we will see - when I looked at my profile in the mirror today they look alot bigger than C cups to me, but I know there is swelling and I also know its been a long time since I saw what real breasts looked like on my body ( been dragging for a while
)...Did you surgeon have a test bra you could see the implants on your body with?
Good Luck...Alesia

Linda,
I would definately say to take a top, I know I have spent a fair amount of $$ on new clothes since losing so much weight...I definately did not want to have to redo the whole top half of my new wardrobe because my twins suddenly go too big to fit in the new stuff...just a suggestion if you are in a similar situation...

I am 5'6" and I weigh 125ish pounds give or take a few depending on the time of the month. I have Mentor High Profile 425cc Silicone implants. I went from a 32 A/B to a full 32 DD. I asked to be a full D and to err on the side of too big. I'd much rather be bigger than smaller. Now, after my breast lift revision, I am normal 32 DD.
Remember, if you are going under the muscle, your implants will be somewhat squished. This makes them appear a tad smaller than just putting the implants in a bra.

Started out with 36D Victoria's Secret bra full of skin. Now a 38D feels better after the implants. Got 400cc Mentor implants over the muscle. I told my doctor that I wanted to remain the same bra size if possible. My boobs are a little too big now for my old 36D bras. The 38D cup seems bigger and I'm not spilling out of it. My medium button up blouses no longer fit properly because they gag right there. I have to get a large. If I had my choice, I would have opted for about 350cc but I'm not disappointed at all. 375cc would probably get you to a full C or regular D cup. I think the VS bra cups are smaller than regular bras - not real sure. Best of luck!

I have to chime in on this one because my PS wants to do anything from 550-650 silicone high profile on me. Now let me say I am flat, completely flat chested no excess tissue after having lost 225 lbs.. I own a nippple thats it. Im 5'8 and 170 lbs. Very wide shoulders and chest. They want to go with this large size because they want be able to fill in my upper chest which caves in a bit. Funny thing is I was set on 450cc but they took another look and said I would have too much space between the breasts and still not enough filling on top. Let me add I have ALWAYS wanted boobs so Im hoping I wont come out looking like a porn star, but I would like too be chesty. Any words or thoughts would be great.

keep in mind when you are reading all these responses that like 85% of american women are wearing the wrong size bra. after my second BA (350cc silicone) i finally nerved up enough to go to one of the speciality bra stores where they do the european fitting method as featured on oprah. anyway, i went into the store wearing a 36C (which i knew was definitely the wrong size) and came out with a 34DD. i have never felt so comfortable and supported by a bra! so whatever you do, i'd definitely go get a professional measurement before investing in lots of bras.
HI Linda!
I am 1 week post op. Pre surgery I was a 38 C but lacking in fullness. I had a lift and added 300cc implants. The girls are right out in front and look great so far...I did NOT want BIG boobs...I was happy with where I was..just didnt want the sag...they will soften and drop a bit and I believe they will be PERFECT for me.
I tried the implants on also with the surgery bra prior to my surgery...one side had the 300cc and the other had the 350. Both my husband and I felt the 350's were TOO BIG so I went with the 300 as we both felt those were perfect.
I toyed with the idea of going back and trying 325's on but decided I would be happy just the way they are.
Funny thing is..the people that I have shown didnt think I had implants put in..I was like GOOD! Cuz they could not tell...they thought I just had the lift!
GOOD LUCK! This was a hard decision!

Hi Linda,
I lost 148 lbs following my RNY. I am 5'3" and weigh 122. I wanted to just get a breast lift......but didn't have anything left....so decided to go with saline implants. I told my surgeon I wanted a full C....and ended up with 350CC implants. They are under the muscle so they look extremely natural. People don't even realize I have implants unless I tell them. They just think I had a hell of a surgeon who was able to lift mountains out of molehills...lol. Up until the day before surgery....my plan was to just get a breast lift. When the surgeon did the mark-ups the afternoon before.....he found I had lost more breast tissue and had nothing left to lift. I would have been an A to a small B after the lift without implants. I had my breast lift with augmentation 3 months ago. At first I thought they were too big.....but after the swelling went down....I am very happy with the size. I wear a C or D cup depending on the bra....each style is different.
I'm 4 months past Mastopexy and went from a C full of skin to a FULL C with 325cc saline implants. Problem is I'm not happy. I planned on a full B but on the morning of surgery my doctor said he thought a C would fit me better. I am 54, 150 lbs at 5'2".
They're too big! The bottom of each breast hangs to the bend in my arm, I have to readjust constantly to stay in a C cup, braless I still look a little saggy. Last but not least they feel too heavy and I swear they have drooped since surgery! My old, abused skin just can't support this much weight. My dreams of perky, little boobs in halter tops has not come true. My tops are tighter now than before surgery.
I have an appt. scheduled to see about further reduction.
I feel bad because I love my surgeon. After arms, tummy, thighs (all perfect!), I hate to complain.
What if he doesn't agree with me on size? What rights do I have?
