BEWARE SEX AFTER SURGERY QUESTION!!!

I was too embarrassed to post this question but hey I guess we are all in the same boat so I'm asking. Ok I am single right now so I haven't even asked my surgeon if I can have sex or when I can have sex. I really don't feel like having sex, my whole tummy area is still sore and I don't think I could handle it. My exboyfriend is here (better safe than sorry) and I just want to know what ur doctors told u or your experiences. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift/augmentation with implants 4 weeks ago. Well I had sex 4 days after my mons reduction/lift.  I was cut hip to hip and still had sex hahhaaa. I say when you feel up to it. Being on top usually is best I've found, or doggy style. Have fun! Donna

Warning Celia...Warning!  Big difference between a TT and a mons lift.  And though we love her dearly and are so proud that she's gettin' her groove on...Donna just likes to brag now.  CUZ SHE CAN!!! That's why she's my FAVORITE hussie!  Hehehe   But realistically, comparing apples to apples, as long as your drains are out, and you have been approved for 'aerobic' activity, then it's all good.  Just don't get your mojo working too fast, cuz you don't want to give yourself a fluid pocket or pop an incision.    Mary

  I just didn't want anybody to get the wrong idea. And trust me, if you are having a TT, the soreness and drains will occupy your mind!  And I didn't want you to mess up anything you might need when the time came.   Mary

Mary you are GREAT so full of wisdom.  Sadly my doctor said no aerobics for 3 months  but it's ok because I don't have a boyfriend now plus I don't even feel like doing anything. thanks Celia

Well, there must not be any men where you live for a gawgus woman like you not to have a boyfriend!    Go hang out at the Home Depot.  Mostly all men.  See, all of my wisdom is not just about Plastic Surgery!   Wow, you're doc is VERY conservative.  Most of the time the limit is six weeks unless there are complications.  You might need to ask, um....just in case.   Mary
