has anyone gotten financed after a bankruptcy??
I know this may seem like a silly question but I am curious if anyone was able to get financing after a Bankruptcy? We can proove it was related to a job loss and medical bills but we are not having luck. Any suggestions? Dr. Say yes we got approoved BUT I am finding bad things about their way to doing business. My PS is in the process of doing away with their company in his office.
ANy suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!! THANKS!!
What are you hearing about drssayyes? There way of business is not that different...if you are talking about the deposit, you still have to deposit money when you book an apptmt for surgery anyways. I have found a great surgeon through them...I would just apply to Cap One, Medicredit, and/or surgeryloans.com...
WOW, No, the deposit was not the issue,I know they all require one. I guess the problem I had was because they are charging me 10, 206.00 for a breast lift with the Dr. (who is awesome!!) I asked the finance lady in that office how much it would be to just have it done without financing. Then she showed me the sheet. His practice does that surgery for 4650.00. I knew that I would be charged high interest, but at 18% on top of the 10K that was a lot of money to be so far off of the normal price the office would charge.
The reason the surgeon was trying to get them out of the office is how much more money they charge from what the actual price is. He thinks that they are ripping people off and the patients are just won over by the price MONTHLY not what the actual proceedure is going to cost them.
How much did you guys pay for your "fixin? " I eventually wanted a TT too, but I will prob not live long enough to pay it off. The quote was over 15K just for that. THEN the interest. I am in Maine, not Beverly Hills LOL What is your take on that? Thanks to all of you, I appreciate the info!!
That's odd. My surgeon's "normal" costs are above what they quoted me-$8999 for extended tummy tuck, and he charges over 10K. It would cost me more than 10K if I did not go thru them. I also went to another ps that is not in their program, and his price was about the same as if I did it thru them. I think it just might depend on the surgeon. It does not make sense that a lift would cost more than a tt, does it? Depending on how long ago your BK was, you may just be able to get approved with other companies. You can also have a cosigner with them, if that helps.
Capital one approved me for 15k for a lbl last year. With bankrupty in my past. Capital One will negotiate the apr rate with you. After I was approved by them I called and asked them to lower the finance rate and they did, by 5% less. Just remember they want your business. I would apply to several lenders.
Good luck
