Scar Cream
My dr reccomends Scar Guard and I used two bottles of it and don't think there was any difference. I've just bought Kelo-cote Scar Gel from makemeheal.com and although it's expensive I can see results right away. I've also used cocoa butter cream for a long time since I heard that was just as good - no earth shaking results with that although it smells nice.
I'm going to keep using the Kelo-cote for all my scar healing needs.
I used several types that were recommended and honestly...I dont think they worked either.
Just a waste of money. (in my opinion) Even the pharmacist told me that! lol..
Time is really what causes them to fade and it all depends on the scarring as well. We are all different.
GOOD LUCK! Julie =)

I use Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment on all of my scars. It is a topical cortico-steriod, and it can be used prophylactically to prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids. In many cases should hypertrophic scars or keloids form, injections of Triamcinolone Acetonide (Kenalog) are used to thin the tissue and help minimize the scars.
I have found that the ointment works wonderfully, the ony thing it did not help was how wide part of my scars on my thighs were after I suffered wound separation. However, the scar may be wide, but it is flat and fading already. My TT scars are flat as can be and just look like someone took a fine point pen and drew a little line around me!
And, in the end, I distilled everything down to one wonderfully simple principle: win or die.
