Did your Short Term Disability cover your Plastic Surgery recovery time?

My STD has stated that they willnot cover any time out for plastic surgery, however, I am probably having an abdominal hysterectomy and then a tummy tuck at the same time so they will cover the time off for the first surgery, so that is my way around the whole thing. Good luck to you.

my std DID cover my lbl and breast lift, it took almost 6 weeks to get paid for it. they said prior to surgery, "it doesn't matter what type of surgery you have, if you are unable to work due to surgery, then it will be covered. wasn't that simple. my employer made the ultimate decision.. thank-god it was approved, I was off for 8 weeks... that would have really sucked!!!! every plan is different. that won't tell you definitely until it is submitted, AFTER THE SURGERY!!!
