Sounds like your DH is very insecure about where he stands in your relationship.....otherwise he wouldn't say such mean things to you.
Does he really think you'll change your attitude toward him that much?
I would have some long talks and explain to him what it means as a woman to feel good about yourself. If you aren't happy with yourself it will bleed over into your relationship anyway.
Having a supportive partner is important and he needs to know that.

I'm 45 and after 26 yrs of marriage and two grown kids, my hubby is looking forward to my belly being flat again, lol.
He watches those TV shows with the PS makeovers and bodylifts all the time now .
He doesn't care wether I want a boob lift or implants either way....it's just whatever will make me feel good about myself. That's what your DH should be concerned with as well. Having the extra skin can bother some people. If you are comfortable with it good for you but if not, do what you need to do to make yourself happy about your body. Age really isn't a factor.
If you don't want to worry about replacing implants why not get your own excess body fat injected into your breasts to fill them back out and have them lifted instead? Then you don't need to worry about future PS where that's concerned. That's what I plan to do for myself :o).
I just want to look good in my clothes and make my boobs perky again, I don't need to be a Pamela Anderson :o).
Never feel guilty about doing what's right for yourself.
You deserve the best in life and your DH should be proud of you for making an effort in being healthy and looking your best !
hugs,
TerSue

I am 49.  I have a PS consult next week to discuss options before I make my final decision.

The decision to have plastic surgery has little, if anything, to do with age.

Unless you have a child, a large regain or something traumatic happen, it is unlikely you will need to have anything, much less everything, redone in 10 years.

I think I should self-edit myself as to what I think about your DH and count my blessings.

My HB didn't blink not once he just got  us a new van now I'm getting mine.  I And I get to drive that vechicle that he just purchased.  And the boobs going to get there's too. I'm not going huge but I'm tried of the hanging after all these years.  I'm almost in a training bra HAHAHA.

Hi ,
I am 39 and I just had my implants put in. I look younger than what I am but I am the age that I am. I have no problems with PS at what age you are. I have had implants(breast) and a lower body lift and tummy tuck and I rolling like a big shot. so the rims on me are all good. Go for it if you can and enjoy it.
Wish you the best of luck and continued success.
