Thanks Antonette! I noticed they even had a suite and thought about checking that out since my mom is coming too, and it has a kitchenette. Just thoughts for now...
I am thinking of having my surgery on the 27th, so that maybe I will be healed enough to some-what enjoy New Years in Monterrey. That just sounds awesome!

What did you hear about the calf lipo?? I want to have that done with a knee and above the knee lipo and prefer to be prepared ....

Just that it was very very painful.  There was a post on the OH board in the last couple of weeks from a member/poster that had the calf lipo. She said it was very painful and her results were not worth the pain. I believe she is the 2nd person who I read that about on this board. I am relatively pain tolerant so I could manage that part. The other concern I have is that if I only have the calf lipo it would leave the sagging skin (its already dimply ). So for me the thought is that I would need to have the lipo in addition to having a cut behind my knee to pull the skin up.

I saw the procedure done once on the Discovery Health channel and the surgeon (unforetunately I dont remember the surgeon) did the lipo and made an incision behind the knee that on this person turned out really well. Barely visible on this person. So it is possible in my opinion for someone who is either okay with maybe sagging skin (depending on skin elasticity, genes, etc) or a incision behind their knee to be very happy with the procedure.

I havent totally let go of the idea but it is not on the top of my list of things to have done right now.

I am taking my daughter and grand daughter with me and he said they could just stay at the hotel it wasnt a problem.  I know what you mean about bombarding him with emails i did the same thing last week.  Amazed that he got back as quick as he did. But he answered them promptly.  Cant wait to get down there.
