Questions? Presurgery Wax and Lymphatic (sp?) massages ??
Also physician referral will never be enough for me. I love my OB. He's a wonderful man and helped me through a traumatic pregnancy but he referred me to reproductive endocrinolgoist that basically ran an IVF clinic like a cattle ranch. Herding them in and out. He had high success rates but no bedside manner or caring heart. I kept searching and found a dr. in the same area (DFW) who was less expensive and who showed more consideration and caring to his patients and his success rates were just as high. As much as I loved m OB I made my choice on more than just his qualified medical opinion. I am highly intelligent and would never blanketly accept a referral just because it came from a physician. Some physicians refer because they went to school with someone or owe them a favor or because they set up a referral fee. While I don't always think there is evil intent - it not always altruisitic either.
Here is a post I did about lymphatice massages a while back:

I thought they were very helpful especially if you have lipo done as well. I think I did mine either 3 or 4 weeks out. It's much cheaper if you do a package which is what I did. Make sure you find someone who is certified in lympatic massages. There are plenty of regular massage therapists out there which is not what you need after surgery.
My dr's didn't want me to shave prior to surgery. They took care of that during the surgery. I'm too much of a chicken...I'd never consider waxing!
