Your pix make me feel very hopeful for my own recovery -- which as you said, has been rougher than I thought it would be.  Some of the feeling is coming back to my cheeks, but my chin, neck and OMG my EARS are like dead-numb and the feeling is so bizarrely uncomfortable.  On the other hand, I can already see such a significant difference that I have to trust that it will eventually be OK.

You look gorgeous -- I think those of us in our late 50s are making the best use of plastics in terms of amount of improvement and how long the effects should last.  That's my story anyway, and I'm sticking to it!

Thanks again for sharing that these procedures are not that easy ... not being surprised is important.

Bruising is localized -- my neck is pretty bruised, and there are certain spots on my face, but it isn't terrible.  I think some of the lack of bruising is because Agha deferred the lower blepharoplasty until later, so he could plump my cheeks in this round.

I can't even imagine caring enough to dry my hair.  I'm glad I got a shorter-than-normal haircut a couple of weeks ago.  I still have staples behind my ears -- Agha gave my DH a staple-removal tool for next week -- AAAIIIYYYEEE!!

I am now going to accept your friend request so I can look at your other pix -- thanks!

I hope you don't mind my saying this, but your PRE-OP LBL pix are a rough approximation of where I hope I get to post-LBL.  I'm quite a bit heavier than you however.  I am in the low 170s.  You got VERY nice results from your LBL -- and pretty quickly too!  I hope I am that lucky.  How bad was the pain/depression with your physical limitations post-LBL?  How long did it last?

Thanks so much for the detais -- this is VERY VERY helpful to me!

But what do you mean by "If I rated the LBL to the Face Surgery....LBL would be a 2 & Face would be a 10."  I assume you mean the LBL is much much worse than the face, right?

Can I hold you to that assessment??  If the facelift is the worst thing, I'd be thrilled, because I'm dealing with it now.  My arms are still really uncomfortable too, but I'm getting used to it.  The LBL just terrifies me right now because I cannot imagine how I'm going to deal with feeling that much pain AND being immobilized.  The inability to lay still and be comfortable sounds terrifyingly anxiety-inducing to me.  I don't generally have anxiety attacks, but I was feeling that way after this surgery.  I don't recall feeling that way after my lapDS.
