Dr. Sauceda's credentials

Yes in a way I guess you are right that I am a little crazy.  For being obese since childhood and waiting until I was almost 42 before ever doing anything about it !!   On that point you would probably make a good point for me being crazy !!

However when it comes to trying to help anyone that was in my shape before WLS or P/S  -- you are way off base !!   I am SO happy with my results with both that I would love to help anyone move forward.

That is why I have talked to several patients of my WLS surgeon before and after their surgery to help answer all the questions I could .  And trust me I have spoken with several P/S patients before my surgery and look forward to trying to help any pre op patients with their questions .

And before you try to say anything different  -- going out of the country is not for everybody .  Just like being force to go to a local P/S even if they have no real experience with post WLS patients is not for everyone !!  

And just to let you know -- I am walking around over two pounds lighter than before WLS and with almost ten pounds of skin lighter since P/S . Breathing a WHOLE lot better too but the best part is I am starting to live LIFE to the fullest so no matter how bad you try  --- you will not get me down to your level !!   Maybe just maybe one day things will change for you and you might be happy with your life !! 

Just FYI...While I was having dinner with Dr. Sauceda and Dr. Alvarez in September in Dallas, I asked Dr. Alvarez how he became acquainted with Dr. Sauceda.  He told me they were in Med School together and that Dr. Sauceda was actually a "student co-teacher" in one of Dr. Alvarez's classes.

Again...I want to express that I have actually met Dr. Sauceda (in person) and that he was recommended by my VSG surgeon (Dr. Alvarez), whom I trust completely.

I am a "real" person and soon to be a "real patient" of Dr. Sauceda's.  I am in NO way compensated for giving my opinion of Dr. Sauceda.  I have also talked and met (in person) some of his former patients that have had excellent results.

Thank you DW! It is so important for me to check the credentials and to meet the surgeon too. I am lucky enough to live in México City so i am gonna try to organize a meeting with Dr. Sauceda either here or in Monterrey (1 hour flight). I love everything about Dr. sauceda so far...

I was in my native country (Belgium) 3 weeks ago and met one of the most famous PS...and it didn't click. I plan to meet one here in México city...but I think I already made my choice lol.

Thanks and best of luck to you with your final decision.  You will know which one will be the right one for you.  I met with (3) PS's...one 30 minutes from my home, one from Houston, TX. and Dr. Sauceda.
