What are these wierd feelings? Maybe nerves reconnecting?

Hey TT/LBL post-ops...  I had a LBL with lip on the outter thighs a little over 4 weeks ago.  Today I started having these wierd, sporadic, sort of twitching or slightly painful feelings on my side.  It almost feels like a small electric shock.  I'm thinking that maybe it's my nerves starting to reconnect.  Maybe it's something else.

Have any of you experienced this?

Thanks, Alice

I have had those same feelings. In the past I was told it was all part of healing but I have no explanation. It could also be dissolvable stitches letting go.

thanks, I'm glad I'm not alone.  It is really hard to even describe the feeling....

I had lipo on my arms and I can tell you have the same sensations.  It is worse when I am cold.  It's just part of the healing and I've heard other patients speak of it happening with Lipo.

hi, I call it the "burn". It is part of healing, but I found it more difficult than the pain! I'm 5 weeks out now, and it seems to be lessening quite a bit. The lipo on my hips just plain hurts still, with burning-didn't expect that, but it is better every day.

thanks for telling me it will get better!  I needed some hope, because it is almost unbearable at times!

yeah, that kinda describes it.  I had lipo on my outter thighs but haven't felt it there.  Just on the back hip.  Haven't had any of it today.  Thank heavens!

Thanks for the reply, Alice

I call them "tings" sometimes mild sometimes severe....they come and go with no real rhyme or reason just part of the healing...

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT WEB SITE     only because we all experience the same things at least we all know nothing is wrong.......i think we would all be running to our drs with all these problems,,,,,lol,,,,,,,i have the same i call it tingling.....especially when its cold....i think we all get these different feeling because we all heal differently.......numbness is another annoying symptom..........what we pay for the price of beauty......patty
