It has been a long time since I have updated...
I am sorry that you missed the link. If you click on my Avitar and bring up my page, click on the item in the list below my picture that says "Blog" There will be 4 installments. The first one is a cumulation of all my posts back in 2006/2007/2008 from when I had gastric bypass. The next three are current ones that have to do with my thoughts and feelings on Plastic surgery and all the stuff that goes with it. Its kinda funny.

I went to the TT talk site and joined. How did they get a photo of me for my profile? The first two moderators that welcomed me shocked me because their profile pics make them look like porn stars. I am not trying to be judgemental or anything. To each his own and all but it was just off-putting and made me a little skiddish. I removed myself because of the first impression. Should I have dug a little deeper?
I am sorry that the website made you uncomfortable. That is most certainly not the intention of anyone on the site.
When you go through enrollment on the site, it will have you upload a photo on the site, but until I did that, the only photo listed there was of "Flatlands". No photos are pulled from your computer without you expressly doing so.
The profile pics that you see are NOT actual pics of the moderators. They are drawings. The drawings are called "Siggys' and are created by the website creator when a person on the site has posted a certain number of times and been an active and supportive member on the website to others. A "Siggy" is an honor to receive. While I am a wife and mother of two and have no plans of looking like a porn star when I am done with all this. I think it is fun to be able to have a sexy avatar on a website that I trust, in an image that is not even close to the truth; but helps people remember who I am when I post.
Given the first impression, I can understand why you may feel that I have referred you to a website that is less than reputable, but I can assure you that the women (it is a women only site) on the site are as real as they come and have been a huge help in getting my questions answered and are willing to bare it all (ugly scars and everything) so that I can know what is up ahead and be prepared. These are things I was unable to find elsewhere. I just wanted to share this information to others that are in my same position and would like support.
Please also keep in mind that TTT is not a site where everyone has some type of gastric surgery in common. This is a page for those that have had, are going to have or looking into having plastic surgery primarily on breasts, tummys, thighs and butts. These are women that have had babies, weight loss or just plain feel like they would like to change their own body image. There are many people on the site whose body I would love to look like and the pic I was looking at was their BEFORE picture!
I see that you have already had your TT procedure. If you would like the support, comparison pictures or just need someone to talk to, the site is available for you. Otherwise, I really do wish you a speedy recovery and that you are absolutely thrilled with your results.
Sincerely,
