How much time did you need off of work. I walk around a lot. I am planning on next summer to go to Mx with a friend she is going to have a lower body lift. I have thought about breast lift w/augmentation and maybe a lower face lift. But my Thighs are the worse!

I had my breasts & thighs done on 6/25.  Originally my ps told me I could go back to work in 2 weeks.  However, when I mentioned that air travel is required, he added on another 2 weeks because it would be uncomfortable sitting.

I talked to my company and they told me if I wanted to come back after 2 weeks, they'd have work I could do from home for those 2 weeks before getting on a plane.  Which is what I did.

Discuss the requirements of your job with your ps and he/she will have a better idea of what your recovery period should be.

I was off for 10 days. My Dr. originally recommended 2 weeks but I only had 10 days available. I was still very tender walking around and sitting. By 2 1/2 week to 3 weeks I was completely back to normal out at the club having fun w/ my friends.

As long as your healing goes well, you should be able to do it. You will still be sore and will want to take it easy and find a way to elevate your legs every so often. I'd be afraid that doing too much walking will be uncomfortable and cause extra swelling.

This is good to know. If isnurance approves it, I would like to get either a circumferencial body lift or a medial thigh lift done over winter break, which lasts two weeks.
