Breast Lift and Reduction

My surgery is scheduled for Nov 4 and TT for Dec 14 (tentative).

Realistically, what is recovery time? Do you really lose all feeling? Ive had so many surgeries and this is the first time i am nervous!!!

I had a lift with implants, so I probably have similar incisions of what you'll have.  And yes, my entire boob from the nipple down is numb.  Even my nipples are b/c they cut all the way around your nipple and leave in tact to it's 'stem', then move the breast up and reattach nipple.  So everywhere there is an incision, it's numb.  It's not bothersome and every now and then, I do get a wierd tingle but that's all.  I've had 3 c sections and a tummy tuck and with all, its numb but the feeling does come back later on!

I had a bl/br and brachioplasty on June 23 2010. The bl/br portion was more uncomfortable than painful and if I only had the breasts done I could have gone back to work after two weeks. My breasts were numb around the nipples and the incisions for the first two weeks then the feeling started to come back. Now almost all the feeling is back, there are a couple of small numb spots in the crease below the breasts but other than that they actually feel more sensitive now than they did before the surgery.

My sensation loss and return is similar to Brinn's. I am 4 months out and all of my sensation has retuned except a little on my lower suture line below my breasts.  I actually have better nipple sensation than I did prior to my breast lift surgery. Bonus!  Best to you! God bless :)
