Tummy Tuck in 1 week- but getting "chicken"!

I just had my tummy tuck and muscle wall strenghend just 12 days ago.  The first few days were bad with pain.  My mother was here for 5 days and that was perfect.  the only advice I have for anyone, is if you have to go to the bathroom, get up and go despite the pain.  with my muscles not functioniong I had a hard time holding it in at times.  Also, have a pillow, next to you to grab if you have to sneeze or cough.  I had a coughing fit that had me crying it hurt so bad.  But I am heaing very nicely.  I am stilll very swollen, but so much better than it was.  I also was told to get a recliner, I bought one of craigslist for my recovery, and it's the best thing I did.  puts in perfect position.  I had two drain tubes, and they were taken out at my one week appointment.  I had one small blister, so I had to keep the tape on for another week.  My next appointment is dec. 1, and he was worried my belly button could colapse, but he just stuck some gauze it in.

I had a lbl and was up and around within a few days. I never had anyone to help me with anything. You will be fine & will be sooo happy that you did it. My scar is hardly visible...flat and a very thin line. Now my thighs, a little rough...I am a bartender, went back to work in 1 1/2 weeks with my lbl, so you will be feeling normal in no time...good luck!!

those of you that have had a C section... think it was about the same pain level/type of pain?
